Charles Jean Hallo is a French painter, designer, illustrator, engraver and photographer. This poster was created for the international sleeping wagon company "CIWL" in 1927. This poster advertises the new range of luxury trains called "Calais-Méditranée-Express". Artists such as Coco Chanel or Charlie Chaplin , among others, used these luxury blues trains to travel to the French Riviera.
