A high definition reproduction of the " Peugeot " advertising poster by Italian artist Achille Butteri.

In 1882, Armand Peugeot , inspired by a fashion from across the Channel, launched the mass production of the Grand Bi “Le Français” and opened a workshop of three hundred workers in Montbéliard. It was a success, which pushed Peugeot to continue, with the manufacture of tricycles, then in 1885, bicycles with equal wheels and chain transmission (sixteen thousand units in 1897 and twenty thousand in 1900).

The Vintage Poster review : The lion on an arrow became the Peugeot emblem in 1850. This poster by the Italian artist Achille Butteri pays homage to the Peugeot symbol by bringing it to life in the form of a lion proudly presenting a Peugeot bike.
