The glutton
Louise Joséphine Weber (1866-1929) known as La Goulue, actress, dancer, and even wild beast tamer, was one of Toulouse Lautrec's favorite models.
Toulouse Lautrec, admirer and actor of Parisian life
Located at 05 rue de Tourlaque, Henri de Toulouse Lautrec is considered "the soul of Montmartre". Indeed, he draws and paints scenes of Parisian life and in particular cabarets (Moulin Rouge) - it is through this that he will be commissioned to create a promotional poster for the famous Parisian cabaret.
On this promotional poster produced for the Moulin Rouge , we can see in the foreground Valentin "the boneless" who was the dance partner of "La Goulue" who is in the background in profile.
