Aristide Bruant
Aristide Bruant (1851-1925) was a French singer-songwriter and writer, famous for his central role in the artistic and bohemian world of Belle Époque Paris. He was also the owner of the famous Le Mirliton cabaret in Montmartre.
Toulouse Lautrec, admirer and actor of Parisian life
Located at 05 rue de Tourlaque, Henri de Toulouse Lautrec is considered "the soul of Montmartre". Indeed, he drew and painted scenes of Parisian life and in particular cabarets (Moulin Rouge) - it was on this occasion that he produced a promotional poster for the famous French singer Aristide Bruant with whom he became friends. .
