A high definition reproduction of the vintage ski poster "Barèges - 41st French Ski Championships" by French artist Jean Even 1954 .

The first French ski championships took place in 1907 and the last edition took place in 1941 (Start of the Second World War) - they included two events: cross-country skiing and ski jumping. In 1942, the championships resumed with new events (downhill, slalom, combined among others). This 1954 edition took place in Barèges and the winner of the downhill event was the French skier André Simond.
