The Vintage Poster review : A poster that highlights the famous Michelin man who carries a full armful of Michelin tires. The " Bibendum " was born in 1894 when Edouard Michelin saw a pile of tires which reminded him of a human silhouette: the "road swallower" was born in 1898 under the pencil of the illustrator O'Galop .
