A high definition reproduction of the vintage 1938 French airline Air France " Asia " poster by Ray Bret-Koch.

The vintage poster "Air France Europe-Orient Extrême-Orient " captures the exotic and captivating essence of air travel across the vast territory from Europe to the Far East. This poster evokes timeless elegance, adventure and openness to new horizons.

The first commercial air flights between France and the Far East took place in the 1930s . Air France begins operating routes to destinations such as Shanghai and Tokyo, establishing air links between Europe and the Far East.

On a bright yellow background, this poster retraces the route taken to reach the Far East (Paris, Athens, Beirut, Damascus, Bangkok...). A stylized elephant guided by its Cornac represents the exotic side of the expedition.

Finally, at the bottom of the poster we can see the words "Europe-Orient - Far East" as well as the old Air France logo, a red winged seahorse . Remember that Air France was founded on October 7, 1933 following the merger of four French airlines and that its first logo was inherited from one of its predecessors, Air Orient.

A superb vintage touch for your decoration!
