Founded in 1908 by Georges Lesieur , the company was born under the name "Huilerie Georges Lesieur". The company with the four red diamonds would subsequently become one of the leading oil producers on the French market in 1958, with 125 million liters of oil sold compared to 30 million liters in 1950.
